I came across this online article today completely by chance while looking for something else and thought others may be interested. I rather think think that the U.K. Police may decide on a slightly different course of action to their American cousins.

This story is relatively old now and I believe it was saved. It may have been on the gunboards forum last year or the year before that. If I remember it correctly it turned out to be registered.
We had many same stories happen here 20 years ago when there was an amnesty. I know a man used to be the registrar fo the city of Calgary and he had some tragic stories...
