New Zealand carbine book

Has anybody read this book?Is it worth buying?

LEC 88. A study of the unique New Zealand issue Lee Enfield Carbine. Munro, Milligan, Taylor.

The book is a very detailed study of the rifle. With postage, it was expensive but I don't regret getting my copy.

It is a very good reference with lots of illustrations. It is a must for the collector of these carbines.

It was about $28.00 in Canadian funds shipped.

Is there anyone selling copies stateside?

"...selling copies Stateside..." Not enough info on that book seller's site. No publisher etc. Google suggests it might be out of print too. Amazon just gets confused.

Well, I 'd like to buy it without paying for shipping from Australia if that's possible. If that's the only way, I'll do it. Anyone have more info?

Definitely out of print. How many of the 300 copies made it to north America is anybodies guess.

Most bookstores will mail overseas. Google turns up one or two copies for sale in NZ.

I was very lucky to get one. My copy is signed and was gifted to me by Doug Munroe.

Just found out the NZ carbine article was published in Ian Skennerton's "collector" magazine issue #30

Thanks everyone for the information. I wasn't aware of this publication, and seeing this thread, I assumed it was brand new. Now, I'm wondering if this book is a reprint of the lengthy (and excellent) article by Munroe that appeared in Skennerton's "Collector." If so, then there's no need for me to pick it up, unless it differs in some way. When I saw this thread, I was hoping that the article had been expanded into a book-length study. (Doug, if you're out there, let's catch up---tried unsuccessfully to email you recently).
