Hallo all.
Does anyone know the meaning of the abbreviation CPJO?
I have seen very few of these "Indian sniper" (with the CPJO mark) and all have S.N. in the range 5715X(X).
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Giancarlo

I also have one or two so marked and apparently it is a police force in India
Does your scope match the rifle??
If not send me a PM as I did find one that I had the scope for but the owner refused to to the swap???
All I wanted was another scope in reasonable shape for the one matching his rifle bit it was a no deal on his part ??
The scope does not match the rifle, but it isn't mine. It is in a gun shop.
Wonky looking mag: some Ishapore variation?
Bracket contours look like a current chinese repro that has been worked over.
More magazine pics.
The bracket seems original to me.
I think it probably is an original Rose Brothers bracket, but I can see what Lee Enfield is getting at. The main horizontal 'strut' of the bracket looks rather too wide (more like a Dalgleish product), & is not slightly tapered as they typically are. Apart from that it looks Bog standard RB to me. I wonder if it could be an effect of the light/camera angle or some such??
It looks very similar to this to me. Or am I wrong?

Here is what I was looking at - it seems the hardest contour to hide for the fakers.
