Is the IP right Charlie? Or close? Or just a build? The M3 there, last time I saw one in the real was here in town back about 1975/76. Was on the local gunshop wall and they wanted about $3000CDN then. Had much of the gear but I understand it didn't work and was missing parts. Not often seen here...
The IP is an arsenal rebuilt carbine. I've been watching it for a couple of days. If it doesn't get crazy, I might bid on it, but for now, I'll just keep watching.
With no internal pictures all I see is a IP receiver. They must be proud of that Front Sight, What are there, 12 pictures of it?
And that is a Vietnam era sling right?
Instead of a History of the M1 Carbine write up, it would be nice to know and see whats inside.
But they write: "This example is in Superb condition as can be seen in the images ....."
And then charge you a 10% fee.
Bryant Ridge always listed at top dollar +.
The "Collector's Elite" auctions are ridiculous on their face. 10% BP for a different color scheme website (plus potentially whatever seller's premium they charge). Just a cheap money grab on Gunbroker's behalf. It will ultimately depress the money the seller makes and increase the overall cost to the buyer
They charge both the buyers premium and tax on top of your bid. That adds 15 to 18 percent to whatever you bid, so you need to add that to whatever you bid to know how much you are spending. On $4000 that would be an extra $700! Definitely a serious consideration.
Plus $70.00 Shipping, Ins likely more, Plus Add 4% to the total cost for credit card purchases.
I can't find a listed amount for Consignment Fee. Say's: "One flat-rate consignment fee. No hidden charges. " :)
