Two Questions on 1884 Rifle and a 1873 Carbine
The local gunshop has 2 trapdoors in stock.
The first is an 1873 Carbine. Sorry I forgot to get the S/N. The lock has a 1877 date on it. The stock is cartouched 1881. Overall it is in good condition. No missing parts. Best guesses as to value?
The second is an 1884 Rifle. The S/N is 291753. No date on the lock I could find and no stock cartouche. Missing the cleaning rod. Overall in poor condition. Best guesses as to value?
valuation without pictures and much more detailed info
yields the following value range:
carbine (whether cut down or not) $200 - $13,000+
rifle $200 - 500
sorry, repeating a standard response to this question, asking this question without a TON of addional informations is like asking someone this:
"Hey Carrol Shelby, you know a lot about Mustangs, I got this 1967 Mustang, how much is it worth?"
200-25,000 is an accurate range.
