Is that Pendleton?
You just can't put a good rifle down and thats the truth of it.;)
Yes, that one. Also the one with a BDC turret and fixed parallax adjustment. Not conducive to good accurate long distance shot placement........
It was the world standard in the early 80's, not so much now.
Those rifles with a Schmidt and Bender are fine and should be in every INF unit both reg and reserve.
They are here, we own them (Free), and they work and are user resistant to damage.
We first saw them in Gagetown in '93 and the sniper course had those problems in the summer sun...just what you wanted.
Is the correct magazine on these rifles single stack or double stack?
Double stack, double feed.
6.5 rounds
Perfect, many thanks!
If anyone has a photo showing the profile of the receiver where the magazine interfaces, please post it. I'm assuming that the profile may be different than the typical box magazine cutout seen in a 1200TX.
Other than some forming differences caused for casting purposes I think they are the same.
In Can-eh-duh 1200C are easy to find, M86-87 are not, guys commonly use 1200c actions with c3a1 magazines and call them "C3A1" rifles.

That's exactly what I needed to see!
Any suggestions where I can find a correct magazine?
