Is there a market for a Johnson? I don't have pictures but it was issued and used , it all seems complete. But the bore is poor. I havn't fired it . Wood is solid with the usual dings. Is therea ballpark price for these things???

Well if it is a M1941 in 7x57 or 30-06 the blue book has it at 800 USD at 60%
Just exactly how pore is the bore?
Here in Canada, an unaltered one generally sees about $1800 these days. Of course, that was last years prices...this years may be higher than that yet.
The bore has rifling but verrrry worn.Caliber is 30=06, probably used in the Phillipines in the 40's
FWIW, Marstar sold a VG+ Johnston last year for $800. It sold within seconds of being listed. I suspect their next one will be priced much higher.
i thought you meant... corrosion and rust or something.
blue book says between 1000-1500 for a rifle like that
The ones down here are a major investment, $1,800/$3,500. Is it a type A or B?-SDH
As an aside, if it is located here in Canada, the rotary magazine has to be modified to only take 5 rounds. I have run in to many of these guns in the past couple years that were not so modified.
If this is a pre, preface gun it is indeed rare-SDH
