Just finished restoring this gem. A 1903 SMLE Mark I, no stars. One of the first made. Steel buttplate and all the proper trimmings. Must admit, we are very tempted to keep it. It will be on show at Bisley this weekend.

I did get to meet Brian Dick today in the HBSA tent; he was sat with Bob Burbage (Arundel Guns), had quite a chat with him, wot a nice bloke! :thup:
I offered to drag the beautifully restored SMLE around in the dirt on the range to give it a bit of character for Jim and Geoffrey but you can imagine the response!
