The idiot who wrote that was fired from his university job and the literature prize he was awarded was rescinded.
It was a total fabrication citing data that was either non-exsistant or manufactured to suit his paper.
That guy worked at a university? Cripes, he couldn't even spell.
You must realize that it is written in old english not moderen day english and yes most of this is fabricated and not researched. That is why I suspect it is written in old english to make it appear to be correct.
This fraudulent leftist claimed to use records that were burned in the San Francisco fire of 1906. It was interesting to watch other leftists try and cover for him when his fabrications became public. The left will do anything to take away our firearms.
I don't believe that this was written by that Emory University Professor. But I do believe that his book is where this fool got his so called facts.
Bob
If that was an attempt to write in Old English, then his Old English is 100 times worse than his contemporary scribbling!
Looks as though it was done as a 'crash essay' simply to have a paper to submit a few hours before a deadline.
That drivel is not taken directly from Arming America, by Michael Bellesiles. Bellisiles could spell and, regardless of his bias and distortions, is at least literate. It seems to be some kind of high school kid's stuff with a lot copied from Bellesiles's work. It is pointless to try to refute this kind of nonsense, since the writer is so ignorant of real history that he undoubtedly accepts what he writes as gospel.
A better question would be - why are we wasting time on idiocity?
Jim
It looks to me to be a computer-generated translation.
I agree that on this forum we are preaching to the choir, but there are some brain dead dimocrats who might actualy believe that stupidity.
Oh by the way, it was one of Klinton's ancestors, (General Clinton) who wanted the colonists to store their firearms in a BTITISH gubmint facility to "Protect them"
ie; you don't need guns the military will protect you"
The colonists didn't buy it then and nothing has changed today.
