That's a lot.
must be the oval cut IR-IP stock that is on it, they are very rare! first legit looking one I have seen
That's unbelievable!
If you look at the bid history, it was an obvious fat finger entry. I seem to remember that CMP has had that exact problem before. Brian at CMP Auction posted that they are taking the site down next week to do some major updating....
And its not the "I" cut... that was the carbine that Omar Bradley gave to Custer before the little big horn....
did anyone notice it comes with a IBM barrel? all my books say thats not right
as for the bid history, i still wanted to post it for a few laughs
I noticed the bid history too, Ed.
(I bet the high bidder said, "Oh heck" when he saw his winning bid posted!) ;)

That is one exspensive typo!
Even though it's obvious that it's a typo, does he still have to pay it?
CMP's system has been off it's rocker. For some reason, it adds a zero here and there.....it must be posessed. I won a couple of auction bids, and something similar happened to me. Brian Vick quickly and kindly remedied the glaring errors without hassle. Glad they are shutting down to fix this glitch.
Guess I sold my white bag IP way to cheap!
Oh, not a typo but a system error on CMP's site.
yup. The system will, more often than not, overbid by several thousand.:move eek: In both my cases this happened, Brian and I agreed on prices we were both happy with.
I can only add to Chad's reply.... On the Bavarians I bought, the bid the site showed was considerably higher than the next highest.... I too was afraid that I'd gotten my finger in the wrong hole. Brian Vick is a good guy, and agreed on a very acceptable solution.
They are aware that their software goes South sometimes. Their confuser program is very --- uh, confused !!

I was really appreciative of Brian, his kindness and willingness to help out on this problem. I would have had an extremely expensive 3 digit Inland and a WTA subcontract Underwood that would have cost a fortune due to the system error.
I thought the greek ammo was too much!
