That is way too perfect. I don't claim to be knowledgeable in the collectible department, but that looks like it just came from the factory, and the cartouches are VERY crisp.
It doesn't even look like a WRA stock. I have been know to be wrong, but that one doesn't look right.
The ends of the I cut don't look right. Holding it up to a picture of the I cut I sold, it looks too long, like a modified type II.
The wood does not appear to be very old - it has no "seasoning". I am of the UNEDUCATED and NON-EXPERT opinion that it either its been stored in a museum case for the last 67 years or it is fresh cut. Plus the "w" in the sling well doesnt look right
There are other physical differences from a WRA I cut highwood I am holding in my hands right now. There may be some differences in the stocks made by winchester, but this one is way off
I would take a pass, mine is not a high wood but it just looks different from that one.
At least I am not the only one alarm bells are going off with this stock. Look at the width of the I cut. It might be the photo but is sure looks very wide for an I cut. Put all of the not rights together and it just screams fake. But wasn't this sell on Charlies list of do not buy froms?
The WRA/GHD doesn't look like the one I have. It's At $560.00 with two days left.....Frank
recently manufactured - jmho

Not exact but these two are pretty close to each other..........
