If it's right, and sounds like it is according to the discription, $2800 is a real good price. Also it has OBO.
If I didn't have three "T"s already I probably would have seriously considered it. Ray

Yes that is mine. Long story short...I purchased this and then went through a very long drawn out nightmare with using GPal (a third party payment processor like PPal) for payment. The funds were taken from my account, but the seller did not get paid for more than four months. I considered it a loss since he would not ship the rifle. In the mean time, I found and purchased another (T) locally here in PA..the one with the MK1 converted to MK2 scope. What I did not know at the time, the seller of the original finally got paid and shipped the rifle to me without giving me fair warning. I really do not mind having two (T)s, but I decided that I could use the funds from this one to put towards a BREN or another Enfield for the collection. Also collect German s/a converted MGs so this may help with a MG13 project. She really is a nice rifle and am pretty sure that she is original from what I've read from the experts and gathered from this and other Enfield forums. Just needs a little TLC on the wood..personally I have not and would never refinish the wood on any my Enfields..every ding and dent tells a story and I am found of living history. I would welcome any comments on her if there are any. I did have a buyer but he backed out after winning the bid, stating that "he was just testing the waters"...like to test the waters with my .303 if you know what I mean.. If she does not sell, I won't be too disappointed tho.. having two (T)s isn't really a bad thing eh?

I am very certain that I could sell a body part.... I sooooooooooooo wish I had the green!!!
And ur in PA Only two hours or so away. Jeeeeez. :-(
Yeah......seriously having some remorse/doubts about posting her up for sale. To tired right now to expand on the issue.. , but I think I'll post some pics in the a.m. (my time zone) and respectfully ask for some "professional" opinions. A few questions to ask as well. Stay tuned folks.

I would welcome any and all comments on this T. Legit? Authentic? Anything strange stand out or raise a red flag? All the #'s match..My big concern is that if I do sell it and the buyer turns around and says that it is a fake, I do not want that on my conscience and then have to deal with the outfall. I'm just not knowledgable enough to make a final determination. I've read the references...looked at a lot of threads on this forum, compared it to another one that I own (non-matching #'s) and I believe that it is legit..that's why I bought it in the first place. The experts are found on this forum and I trust their judgement and value their opinions. Even if it is to tell me that I bought a fake:bash:
Appreciate any assistance.
Cheers.

It looks as honest as the day is long to me. Good price too.
Even the granular looking receiver body and bracket finish are what you would expect from the S/N range. Only oddity is the scope S/N on the wrist is a bit to the rear of most, but I don't think it means anything. From the looks of it, it's barely ever had the scope installed. Nice fresh rifle!
The granular finish is called Brunofix and can't be duplicated so you know it's original.
And ugly as sin. At one point I was thinking that someone may have attempted a "Home" parkerizing attempt to cover up an import stamp or some other truth revealing mark. I'm still on the fence about letting her go...leaning more towards the keepers side now. If I take her to the range there will be no going back.
Keep it.. My resistance is weakening :)
