Sniper Rifle L4A1 No. 32 Telescopic sight. - eBay (item 190492041133 end time Jan-24-11 16:27:41 PST)
While the mk2 kit is nice it's a 'trying it on' type price - ain't no-one gonna pay that!
I guess we can all dream in Technicolour (tm).....
Hell, I'd take 3/4 of that for one of mine!!!!! :-)##
Was someone looking for a diaphragm (reticule holder) for a 32 Mk. I ??? If so, drop me a line.
On the subject of sights and 'that' site (excuse the pun.....). There is an ex RAF .22" No7 '25 yds' marked backsight ripe for anyone collecting the parts to make up their No7 or wanting the correct backsight. See under 'Lee Enfield'
Surely you could simply re-line that couldn't you Thunderbox.
Beware if youre buying the No71 sight. They were a conversion of the Mk2 and 3 telescopes used as the 7.92mm co axial BESA MG sight in the Mk7 and 8 gun tank. Because the alignment was done on the gun cradle, many/most/all of these telescopes were robbed of their internal mechanisms and replaced with the simple No42/53 inner sleeve. In any case, even if it's not, you'll need a new grat block diaphragm.
Just thought that you'd like to know.
not surprisingly it didn't sell for a $4500 buy it now so it's now relisted for $4000 buy it now. I will keep waiting till it gets about half of that and perhaps I will be interested.
