hi, folks i'm trying to find a higher sight blade for my M94/14 carbine. i have a +0.5 on it and it shoots high i'guess i need the +.75 ??? the only place i found these, wants 14.50 to ship a 8.00 sight, i ain't ready for that yet, i'm kind of cheap any sugestions on where to get one. not a mauser person, but fun little gun to shoot. I'm kinda cheap too, but sometimes you just have to suck it up and open up your wallet and let the moth's see some daylight.

Am I to understand that $22.50 and the moths fly but $10 and they stay in? I think $85 for 20 rounds (8.15X46) they not only fly they migrate to another planet. And hang it on the wall and they stay in so nice and warm..............and I don't even drink.....well not much anyway.

I collect them okay I just have a hard time getting going when it comes to shooting them. Pat when I do you will be the first to know.
The m/94 carbines use a Vee front blade. The m/96 and m/38 use a square top front blade so they are not interchangeable between m/94 and m/96. I doubt you'll find a correct Swedish Vee front blade so you'll have to buy a m/96 blade and file it to shape.

Dutchman, I haven't got an M94, so I can't try it out myself, but could a very ordinary (and thus easier to obtain) Mauser K98 blade be fitted? It would have the V profile, which is tedious to file and not so easy to achieve symmetry. A '98 blade might be slightly different in the dovetail, but a touch of peening/filing on the blade is easy to do. Easier than filing up the V. And the '98 blades are available in different heights (at least, they are here).

hi, it was the correct sight, inverted V, ok if i'm allowed to do this, the guys trying sell agroup of Swedish Mauser parts on the CMP trader under other, page 3. pictures look like a good deal for 25.00 to me but no Mauser expert here! a guy gave me the M94/14 for cleaning up a gun collection for him. its a interarmco 33/50 with no matching parts but its in decent shape,fun to shoot too. Is the M-94 the same as the M-96 sight? If so, Samco Global Arms has front sight blades listed for the Swedish Mauser for $7.95 for original sight and $12.95 for M-96 tall front sight. They also have several other Swedish Mauser accessories.
