One question, can you get your Nylon 66 to shoot accurately. I have one with a scope and it is OK but far from good. I believe it is because of the receiver cover and the way it attaches, maybe I am wrong? I think the metal cover has movement and as far as I can see nothing can be done to improve it. My old Cooey single shot will outshoot it any day of the week.

I shoot mine with iron sights only and it will do golf balls at whatever range I can see them.

thats my experience so far - i just got the scope and mount , i have heard about the issues and went with a block type mount - seems very rigid , but ill not know for sure till its warmer , if it doesnt work its coming off as shes a tack driver with irons ,

im holdin till im forced to fold , but i do intend to shoot a bunch this summer as its getting closer every year

I hope you post how it works as I do think the metal receiver cover has movement and prevents it from being really accurate. Getting old so the iron sight issue is a problem, maybe I will have to wear a corrective lens to compensate if I want to use iron sights. Don't get me wrong it will shoot quite well, the problem to me seems to be shot to shot are rarely in the same spot, close but we all know close only counts in Horseshoes and Handgrenades! We enjoy shooting at 100 yards and as I said my old Cooey is super accurate at that distance with a very old Weaver 4X scope.

You are my hero. Are you adopting? I had no idea the variety of the older .22 rifles that were out there until I found this forum. This is going to cost me money...

the obvious thing here is im eclectic in my 22s , i lover the trainers , but when it comes to commercial im all over the board - it just has to 'move me' and yes , the cost does add up but what are we expecting ?
