kr6ng,
What was your question ...

This is A t1a, just wonder what would be a fair price to list it for?
I can't really tell from your photo. But from what I'm able to see it looks like a repo to me.
Yep, looks like an aged repro. Single weld is a dead give away.
Russ,
As far as being a legit USGI band it looks fine to me . If you can e-mail me some more pictures I can tell you for sure.

IRM,
Increase the picture size.
I can clearly make out the center and right side weld spots, while catching just a peek of the left weld.
Don't be to quick to judge.........
Or it may be off to the Gallows for most of us.... :nono:

BTW, That barrel shows the bare spot where a early band sat, while being parked/Phosphated. Nice example... IMO
It's real
Is it off an Inland or Saginaw?
Inland
kr6ng,
Frodawwg is a member here and runs the The Collectors Source...... M1 carbine parts
When he was selling USGI Type I bands in a Ebay auction format he was fetching about a average of $135+ or - for the nicer ones and a little more for the marked ones . Damaged ones with De-mill scars, missing swivels and screws or just rougher shape were pulling in less.
You can look back on his feedback and get an idea of what they were selling for back then. Time has passed on the older auctions and you won't be able to pull up pictures. If you look over his Feedback, you'll find the nicer ones were being sold in late spring to early fall of 2010.
Maybe earlier in the year also, but I didn't look back that far.

Oooops, I was looking at it on my Android and only saw one (small picture).
