How to protect your stock from the pouch button.

I wonder if this will affect the collector value?

Well, that's one way to ruin a good $25 pouch. Haven't seen that before. Is there no end to stupidity?

This was a WWII field modification used when GI's brought their battle worn rifles back in to have a new CC re-stamped.
(Didn't you read it in George and his buddy's new book about carbines?) ;)

George???? Writing a book?????? You have o be kidding. He will list all the rare variation and odd letter coded parts that never existed, but he happens to have new old stock he got from a trusted source!

The stock is a new commercially made stock with counterfeit cartouches. At that price mine just went up :)

Stock pouch left on is always a clue of something wrong. Commerical stock, good catch and it is. but the wood is pretty.

I am also suspicious of "its been in the safe for many years" and "I really don't know that much bout these, but..."
