Found this in a junk box at a local flea market today. Anyone know what it is for?

Looks like the case for the Clinometer, Machine Gun.
Looks like a BAR tool case.
Looks like a BAR tool case to me, Here are two BAR combination tools, note the difference, there is also a third one that is different too. This tool would have been inside this case
I had one, it was a BAR tool kit
Yes! BAR tool kit. I am looking at mine right now....
OK I'll buy that, but it LOOKED like the Clinometer case. Except maybe mine had a rear belt loop...
Thanks for the info guys! I also picked up a real nice M1941 pack marked USMC Boyt 44 from the same seller. Its only the top part of the pack, but i am always happy to find any USMC marked gear. I will post some pics of it as well.

certainly not a clinometer case as it doesn't look anything like mine and I have the clinometer as well.
Lets see a pic John, I sold mine a bit back so it's not fresh in my mind...
Unfortunately I am kumpewter challanged and do not know how to post pics. I also have a 1922 Victor talking machine and the records to go with it, that should tell you something;)
My cameras use 35mm film and my motorcycle is a 1943 BSA!
I'm with ya there John...
