Looks like what would happen if a Japanese LMG mated with a MAS 36, sort of.
Looks like the rifle that a marketing committee developed after holding a focus group.
Paul
Looks like an interesting and adaptive use of a surplus receiver.(Had it been british, I might have looked twice.)
Thanks I need to bleach my eyes now.

I'm partial to Long Branch's, but thanks.
Bugly is an apt discription.:crying:
On a practical note, I think you would have to have a 2 foot long head just to achieve a sight picture with a proper cheek weld as high as the scope is above the stock comb.
OK, here ya go:

PaulS.......... BUGLY......... Don't you mean FUGLY? That's how I learned it in Australia. Or as they used to call my girlfriend, 'a borilla' That's a cross between a Bison and a Gorilla
Or around here- Mu-gly. Cross between mutant and ugly.
The rifle is fugly, but I tried to keep it a bit cleaner and went with the alternative - bloody ugly.
Speaking of dating, do you remember hearing about "doing a dingo"? Wake up in the morning, and she's so ugly you chew your arm off at the shoulder to get out without waking her.
I had to wake her up. Did not want to be called "Lefty"
This is the kind of thing that happens when cousins marry! ... can you hear the dueling banjo's???
Sometimes, I get the feeling that the people they're talking about in the film, as mentioned by Marty and Dave, come from some of the big estates around here.....................
And used guns produces another Gem

I saw the seller on Sunday, but he did not have the rifle with him. I told him it was the talk of the internet and I think he thought that was a good thing. He did say it was a one-of-a-kind and very unique.
Quick call out the gaurd they must be breeding in the gun cupboard!!!!
