Have not been around for some time and thought it time to wish all my old friends from this forum, Jouster and the previous Lee web site --the Gun and Knife Forum of the Nineties.

Fellow members,
I am starting this off early as i will be away from anything electronic for the next 5 days or so, so I am wishing you all (yes muff you included) a very joyous Xmas and a safe prosperous and rewarding New Year.
We all need some hope in these uncertain times and this forum provides that. Knowledge, friendship and understanding are about all someone can ask and you recieve that and more here.
remember the guys and girls overseas doing thier duty believe me it is times like Xmas that they need to know we are thinking of them and fully support them, pity the politicans couldn't do the same.

Hey, I know what it's like being abroad in wild lawless countries Trooper. Christmas '67 I was in Auckland and went aboad the last NZ Navy Cruiser before she was towed out and scrapped. Was it Royalist or Blackpool)) and '68 , being single, on Christmas guard duty at Enoggera and probably somewhere equally as wild in '69

Merry Christmas!! There will be no Enfield under the tree for me this year, so I look forward to seeing some pictures from those of you lucky enough to find one under the tree tomorrow morning!!
I mustn't complain. No enfield under the tree tomorrow but I did pick up a nice Mk3 SMLE & a winchester P'14 yesterday. If I just get socks & slippers I shall still be happy now!

Nope............... nothing from the Lee Enfield stable in my stocking this year. But I did get a runners-up present of an L96 complete to CES and spotting scope too to make up for it. All have a prosperous new year now that Christmas has come and almost gone..............
Hoping everyone has a Merry Christmas (although of course for those in the UK it's already pretty much done) and a safe, stable, healthy and Happy New Year!
