THE WORLDS BEST Fal COLLECTION!!

Hi all,

Came across this over at fal files, an astonishing collection of all the worlds fals, unfired in the wrap British L1's included!

Some very rare US trails T48 fals in store, must be worth a fortune!

All the weapons are apparently in store at Marine Corps Base Quantico and the pics were taken December 12 2008.

See now, that's a gun room. Except it would need a kitchen in it. Most guys would live in there.

i could spend a long time gettin to know all those fine rifles

As a slight aside, I was in an armoury in the UK a few weeks back that had two new, unfired Aussie issue AD serialled L1A1's in it..... ;)

Unfired.............. They must have been proofed and probably proofed again in the UK again if it wasn't a Military Armoury!

It is a private international arms dealer ;)

Never thought to check proof marks, I was too busy dribbling on the guns :D.

There were also stacks of Thompson SMG's, crates of AK47's, lots of pistols, a Gimpy that looked brand new and loads more :eek:

tried to join the FALfiles forum but was told i dont meet there criteria .well after 22 yrs in the para's with L1A1'S used all the time what is their criteria ?

They binned me too....I have a bloody SLR.... what more do they want:banghead:!!!!!!!!

Maybe I should try to join them. But I suppose that my limited technical knowledge and experience, I'd be kicked out too.

Yep me to, not sure exactly what the joining criteria are, but suspect you have to reside in one of the Americas!

Go for it Peter, if you don't qualify then they should close the entire forum down, can't imagine anyone with more knowledge on the subject than you mate.

What a beautiful collection, just drives me crazy that we aren't allowed to own one in Canada unless it is on a grandfathered lic. I have a friend that has a couple and am going to email him to see if he belongs. Possibly owning two Chieftan tanks will disqualify him...lOL.

That's me definately disqualified then. Only one tank and that's a Centurion - and not even a gun tank!

Ive' got a Water Tank, will that disqualify me too?...............;)

I'm totally befuddled by all that...they have members in Argentina, Britain, Germany, Italy, Holland, Aus and NZ.

I'd say try joining again or email the webmaster and ask what's up...heck, they took me and I hardly knew bupkis about anything when I joined up!
