Interesting story.
That pigeon's message had the co-ordinates of the buried Spitfires in Myanmar, no wonder they just found those things!
I did chuckle at your comment Sarge.......... You're as cynical as me!
You made my day with the Spitfire remark. Very Very funny!
What has the better chance of flying again, the pigeon or the spitfires?
The pigeons DNA can be retrieved and cloned. (A bird in the hand...as the saying goes.)
I did not anticipate the English humor but it is appriciated.:beerchug:
what a sour bunch, lack of sunshine? lol
I think it's pretty cool and hope there is something to the decoding,, and hope there are some "wrapped" Spitfires waiting to be dug up,, and hope that whatever may be in the Churchill River is related to WW2
cheers, Jim
What? What's in the churchill river...?
Churchill river water.
ANOTHER little gem from Brit Plumber...............
What a Monty Python this thread this has become. Not at all what I expected.

Pigeon update. Perhaps the code does disclose the location of the Burmese Spitfires!
Bletchley Park still in operation? Perhaps they could be of service.
I'm sure just for the sake of fun they already did try. 1993 they were established as a museum. Hey, those might just be the Power-Ball lotto numbers!
That's a different story.I wounder if they decoded it
No they did not. The code breakers are stumped.

Mystery Solved! No Spitfires.
And he did it in 17 minutes with a code book he inherited!
