The German MG Capture & Trophy
Thousands of German wpn's were taken to Canada as fitting memorials and given to schools, Legions, towns, villages etc as recognition for the war effort. In Canada fortunately many still exist and I would hope this thread encourages recognition of those existing in Canada.

Stand up and go when the whistle blows
Saw a CBC interview of a surviving vet of the Newfoundland regiment. He was asked why he did not just stay behind when the signal was given to initiate this disaster. He responded that he had just not thought of doing so!
