Holy mother of..... Parkerized? Wow!!!
Jesse
At least it's nice and clean...?
Are we missing something? I just bought a not-parkerized 1917 No.1 mkIII* (Enfield factory) for $250.00 with original barrel (VG bore), matching bolt, stock, nosecap, etc. There must be a lot of disposable income out there!

+1. Absurd price !
Looks like a re-parked Canadian gun. As there are no Australian property marks, this is somebodies home project.
Someone got really burned.
Yeah, but just who did the most burning? The seller or the buyer to himself?
I am feeling much better about my recent purchases.
I'm an auctioneer, and in my time I've seen some burnings. This is definitely one for the books. Wow.
I mean really....WOW.

30 bids?????
So why is it that when I want to sell something, not enfield specific, but ANYTHING, I can't find the buyers like this? Criminy, the seller must be laughing all the way to the bank.
Mmmf. There's just not much logic to auctions.
Jeez!
Money and brains...not necessarily mutually inclusive.

"Now back to my ejaculation: "WTF!""
You old-fashioned boy, you. Nobody uses that expression any more. Like "gay" or "spunky" it is no longer in polite use.
Rob
PS, WTF is fine, by the way
Reminds me........ I was at a meeting the other night at an explanation of something where the entered apprentices of the time were paid in what is termed 'species' (money/coin) Alas, when told, the teller explained that the apprentices were paid in '....faeces' .
Holy cow!! Makes me feel great about my $200 restored Enfield. I would gladly take 1K and buy two more, then keep the change.
Might as well have gone the whole distance and "suncorited" it.
