What is your most unusual Milsurp? I would have to say mine is my 1862 Extra Korps Gewehr Lorenz updated in the 1870's to the Wanzl breechloading system. 58 rimfire. It was a wall hanger when I bought it from JP:dancingbanana:

That's pretty cool :)
I don't have anything that odd, I'm afraid.
My Grandpa. We keep him in the basement when company comes over.
That's a pretty cool rifle Oatmeal. Are you able to shoot it at all?
I don't think this qualifies as "unusual", but it's the rarest and most unique milsurp I own:

stevo,
was that 8mm left-handized in a previous life by any chance?
Stevo,
Yes I shoot it regularly, will go out again as soon as this snow is gone. It isn't very accurate but it is fun.
If by unusual you mean rare or uncommon...

Klunk,
That is gorgeous!
Makes sense... wouldn't want you to rob a liquor store with it. Everyone knows 90 pound crew-served weapons make you turn psychotic and become a gun toting meth dealer...
On a brighter note. It's a beautiful piece! What is it? Izhevsk? Ex-tank mounted example? Finn marked?
Do reproductions count? If so, then this one is my most unique rifle.

I'd say that counts. After all, a repro's all that us peons can own of that rifle.
My own taste runs to the 19th Century, and while my various Snider-Enfield and Martini-Henry rifles and such might not be collected by the majority frequenting this forum, they cannot really be said to be uncommon or "unusual".
On the other hand, I think this recent acquisition qualifies - one of 5000 .50-60 rimfire Peabody rifles acquired by Canada in 1866 to meet the threat of invasion by Irish Republican Army (the original IRA) of the Fenian Brotherhood in the United States. The "CM" stamp on the buttstock denotes "Canada Militia" - and this was the Province of Canada, don't forget (i.e Crown Colony consisting of Upper and Lower Canada) ... not the Dominion of Canada!

hard to say my Russian 14.5 AT bolt gun is pretty weird but my Vickers is just drop dead pretty both are unique .I just picked up a nice WW1 tripod in the box for it .My MP 41 is downright weird talk about a step backwards
Both posted items are quite the rage, I'd like to own them both or at least shoot them once. The only have a few that come close a Hakim,39 sneak and Swed FSR with the Fladt Nothing super rare but scarce. I do however have a grouping considered rare It is the personal artifacts of Lord Admiral Molyneux Shuldham, commander of the British White fleet (1812) as well as Maj. Victor Lemeux Shuldham, V.C. holder from the first Boar War. My great, great grandfathers. My mom defected the blue bloods, married Austrian and moved stateside, Oh-well-SDH
My dearest Klunk ....I DON"T KNOW HOW I"M VERY COMPUTER STUPID I will send you pics if you could post them

I have a few that would qualify, but I'll start with a Reising Model 50 SMG.
Model 50 CA prohib.
Haven't seen a model 60.
assuming I get the pic right. The rifle is a proto-type rifle we picked up in 1983. It is a Springfield model 1903 A1, NM proto-type sniper trials rifle. It was considered un-fit for consideration due to the German optics. The Lt Col. we bought this rifle from got it off the un-serviceable rack at Ft Benning GA in the mid 1940's just prior to a leave where he was going hunting in PA. He had gone to the Q.M. to try to take one of the new style sniper weapons for his trip, but, the Q.M. wouldn't/couldn't give him a new style rifle due to the high demand in the Pacific theater. So he had to take one from the un-serviceable rack. He used this rifle for hunting right up to the year we bought it from him. We had to swear to Christ that we would not break up the rifle for parts before he would sell it to us. It shoots 1" groups @ 200 yards with handloads and 2.5" with L.C. ammo-SDH:madsmile:
I think that Reising should go home to it's former owner ..as a gift for Christmas ..Have a great Christmas Adam maybe we could hit the range soon .
