When in Greece in 1971 I could have bought all the German helmets I wanted for $25.00 each. Fallschirmjager helmets were $50.00. Man if I could go back.
There's a little museum located in Eldred, PA that is full of items just like that from attics and basements everywhere. Best museum this side of the National WWII museum! Also has a lot of goodies from a Russian vet from the Eastern Front.
And there again, an 03 in the midst of a bunch of Garands.
