CSP Carbine Forum?
Is there something going on over at CSP that I am not aware of, following Major Culver's passing? My computer shows no activity on the Carbine forum since April 2 and I wondered if there had been a notice issued that I missed. Things get slow everywhere now and then but I've never seen no posting for that length of time. Thanks. ChipS

New CSP Post Today
New CSP Carbine post today after my original post. I guess everthing is OK.

I posted there once and then forgot my password. I followed the steps to get it sent to me and it never arrived.

Password?
That is the reason I want the same user name and password on every forum. Some I am on often and others not so much. Hell I even forget I am registered on some forums. That may not be good but I still think KISS is the best way for me.

I don't really have a spam folder. Junk email folder? I get notifications of something that is going to be sent there and I always click on it because it's almost always something I want in my In Box. I've tried at least 5 times to get my password and nothing ever comes.
I tried registering again and can't because it already has my email address recorded as used already.

If you want to PM me the info , I'll copy it and post it over there to get someone's attention .

I came to this Carbine forum after hanging around on the old Culver forum (about the time they changed format). While I had shot and loved carbines all my life, and even carried one as a duty weapon for years, I always came away feeling stupid (and frequently belittled) when I would ask a question. Keep in mind, I was looking for knowledge. I never pretended to be something I wasn't (and still am not) i.e. I am not a Carbine expert. The last time I was there (years ago) I left after particularly vitriolic post in my direction, about putting them out. I have never been back. This forum, on the other hand, is friendly and welcoming.

Really sorry about your last experience on CSP. I was a member there for many years and things got really bad for awhile with vitriolic posts and spam before they were given refuge here to recoup. After they regained their footing they were very sensitive about posts on their forum and things started turning around. A few of the old troublemakers came back but lost their posting privileges in short order.
Ya might try them again......

Still crap place for talking guns. Half the posts are still politics or insultin racist bs bout one group or another.
Even had 5 star rate discussion with photo of air force 1 tail numbr saying ni**ger which most thought was funny cept me.
Guess cause Im black into my 80’s and fought 2 wars for some of those turds.

I came over from there as well as many others. And I'm sure there were many varying reasons for people to relocate.
Different forums can take on different attitudes. We here have a common interest in military surplus weapons, and wish to share that with others. I think we do a good job. We strive to be respectful to all. Keeping something we can't change, politics, out of the discussions. And we would like to maintain that level of respect.
Let's enjoy what we have and not get into forum bashing.
