Well yes it does not have all SA parts properly dated and has been refurbished along its journey but I am happy none the less.
The born on date puts it in June of 1942.
The barrel is dated 6-43.

Very nice markings, and these are a bit harder to find here in Canada. Maybe you'd consider a pic expose' for the rest?
Will do, probably over the weekend. The markings are the reason I picked this one up.
I need to fully disassemble and it needs to be lubricated.
I am certain there will be a couple of Breda parts in there.
It is interesting how these were maintained by the Danes.
My other M1 is a properly dated SA, except for the VAR Barrel and replacement stock.
Yes, the Danish re-builds are prominent here in Canada. I do have a LL with all the correct parts...but then I corralled it back in '76...
Took it apart, lubed and forgot to take pictures of the drawing #s. The follower is a #12 (no surprise), but the parts are SA marked so I am happy.Quote:

The only difficulty I had with it is that it had not been lubricated.... Dry. Very dry.
A little rust on the gas plug (hidden seen upon removal) cleaned up fine but was a ..... To remove.
