The stock is cracked in two places, the tang and from behind the trigger guard through the pistol grip. I'd pay $100 bucks why not...
well i thought 100 would be good to but the crazy thing is pushing 300.00 now out of my class lololol
Let them have it...
dam crazy thing is at 450 now
i like odd guns but not at that price
just watching it now to see how high it goes
That is a MOSIN-NAGANT, not just a NAGANT............It is a Finn so I would say a couple hundred bucks................
That's OK. On a yard sale type site there's a guy asking $600 for one that had it's barrel cut and was put in a synthetic stock. It's not a Finn and just a plain old plain old.
well it is up past 450 to much for my blood with the problems that were pointed out to me. was that model popular. was is a special made item
I seem to remember those at some of the wholesalers a year or two back but for the life of me can't remember the price.
were thee made orginaly that way or made from surplus arms
Surplus....
Made by the Finns for target shooting, military trainers. Uncommon and desired.
Hmm...saw this rifle on Gunbroker last night.
The Finns made them for target shooting out of regular stock. Model 28/76. I think that they got new barrels and extra attention in the assembly.
One of the things that is running the price up is that it is a "No FFL" antique. Can be shipped direct to the buyer.
Centerfire Systems sold those target models a while back and I can't remember the price. They weren't cheap.
Al
I just found the old price from Centerfire Systems, they sold them for $599.99.
well the one on gunauction i at 510.00 now with 4 day left to go didnt see the one on gunbroker
The rifle in question is a TURD....IMHO of course.
maybe some one is looking at it thru rose colored glass :lol:
I think the Centerfire Systems & J&G ones were in the $600 range.
Yup, because at the time around here they were calling them "Sniper" training rifles. I remember they were high because I picked one up, looked at it an put it right back in the rack laughing in my head.
This is a fine 28/76 Finnish target rifle The price mostly will be $1100.00 plus when it's all over !! This rifle is in the same class as the national match 1903 Springfield !!! And of course the , 1903 Springfield is just a U.S surplus rifle that they slapped some target sights on to it and called it a target gun !!!
well this fine piece of material finished auction at 691.00 so not sure if that was good or bad
