I have one of those mounts. It is a commercial mount, apparently from a company in Aussieland. Been meaning to mount it on a sporterized No1MkIII and use a Weaver K3 on it. Congrats on the scope purchase.
The mount is a Parker Hale "Continental", or a close copy.

Its a way of life when your on half wage, but can't complain must admit I did get a bit extravagant the other night on ebay, something that needed a bit of TLC and some tweaking, I was expecting a stampede at the last minute.... but I won the bid. (all will be revealed in the near future)Quote:
