What is the average price for a Ishapore 2A in very good condition?
Buster95: Don't really see enough for sale to establish a meaningful average but I would say $550.00 to $650.00 (in very good condition). I bought one at the low end of that range about a year ago. There was one posted on CGN recently for, I believe, $850.00 or something somewhat ridiculous like that.

I think Ridolpho's thoughts on prices are very realistic. I want one, not bad enough to pay what some people are asking however would consider parting with the cash in the 550.00 - 600.00 range for a very good one.
Remember seeing them well under that price in the US a couple years ago.
These values are not too far from US values, accounting for exchange rate differences.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the finish used on this rifle? Suncorite?
Finish is usually "el cheapo" black paint slobbered on the metal bits.
What finish do they use.................... Have you ever seen tar painted on the hull of a boat?
I had a mint one (2A1), with the proper model of bayonet which I sold for 800$, I paid 760$ in the first place and once you add shipping I just got my money back. I had it listed at 1000$ and no hits, put it up for 800$ and 3 people wanted it in a hour, maybe should have tried 900$. This was all a year and a half ago.
Funny I just found one on a site for $1,250.00 and described as mint. From the pictures it is in very nice shape however I guess my definition of mint is different than the sellers. I have my doubts it is going to sell at that price, but what do I know?
Got em on gunbroker right now, NO reserve, current bid under 200 bucks !....................
I see the 2A I posted about has now been reduced to $950.00 still way overpriced IMO.
enfield303t: I saw that too. Much rougher than mine which I purchased a couple of years ago for $500.00 from a dealer not known for bargains. The seller of the current one notes that he has tried to preserve as much of the "suncorite" as possible while cleaning which pretty much sums up the quality of the paint. New flakes break off mine every time I look at it.

Someone on Carolina Shooters Club forum has a nice Ishapore for sale for $350.
