Granted a 1908 LSA is a nice thing but I think someone paid a bit too much for a restored EY rifle. Or am I just cheap?

That was a lot...
I was watching that.... Holy crap! lol
DP is obscured through over stamping on action and barrel as well.
Holy crap!! PT Barnum was right!!!
That is pretty obviously a restored DP as mentioned, wow, just simply wow!
I would be a much richer man if I had no conscience...
The EY is cancelled out by the proper cancellation mark though. Its the DP thats been over struck by the 0 stamp that would have me thinking, along withe linished bolt SN. $2400+ I wouldn't think so!!
There are no limits some sellers will go to in wringing out the most of a POS rifle in its unaltered state, rather they tart it up and on-sell to a person whom may think they are getting a good buy when it really is a sows ear in a boars b*ll bag.
I was bidding on this one last month.A far better rifle.I did a pre bid of $1900.00 and lost out.I wanted it because I knew who had the matching bayonet!
pre-war MK III rifles don't exactly grow on trees.
