Guy out of Italy on eBay has a fairly big batch of carbine slings for sale. Only one picture but seems righteous. Looks like an auction lot from a parts crate or arsenal, something like that. Looks like several early khaki ones mixed in which aren't coming up very often any more.

Well, I ordered one so we shall see. I imagine they will all be sold by the time it gets here from Italy so any comments I have likely won't be of any help in a purchase decision but I will post a picture(s) when it gets here. Thanks EinsteinTaylor
Check his other items too. He's got several Carbine sling listings of different types. The WWII marked slings look to be in good shape - at least most of the ones pictured. :dunno: - Bob
The other items is what made me decide to buy. Looks like he specializes in WWII items and everything looked to be correctly identified and so on. I'll update when mine arrives.
I have purchased several slings from this gent and all are USGI , Picked up some rare 1943 marked Slings from him along with other nice unmarked Khaki's .
Same here. Good deals. He has raised prices now.

Picked mine up from post office today. It's the real deal. Very happy with my purchase.
Mine came today pretty fast for a package from Italy. As I'm new to the M1 Carbine and its accessories I have posted a few photos of my sling. Looks, feels, and smells like the real thing. I did not spring for the higher priced dated ones he had for sale but it is marked with an S N I think. So I will leave it to your comments. I think you would call it OD green.
That's a $100+ sling in my area. Nice.
Nice sling and great condition. The c tips on the one I received were rusted a decent amount. I'm not complaining though. I requested a khaki one due to the carbine it was going on being a very early 1942 build and he nailed it.
Very positive experience with this seller.
I poked around a little but I'm unsure of the manufacturer who used S N mark on the sling. Anyone know?
I've just clicked on the link and it would appear that the sling is no longer available. Perhaps the vendor wishes to make some changes to the listing???
That peticular auction ended. I saw that he had like 10 left that didn't sell so you could probably message him if you're wanting one. Or check out his other listings. He has lots of cool WWII stuff.Quote:
