I know that it isn't a "Milsurp" but...
I have laid down the money that I had to buy an A/O AOM 130 M1 Carbine. I'm also installing an M2 magazine catch and purchasing 4 American-manufactured 30-round magazines from keepshooting. (These magazines have a good reputation for reliability).
I am hoping that I can perform a "fluff and buff" on this rifle, thus enhancing it's reliability. (The feed ramp and slide bearing surfaces are my main concern). I want to make sure that this Carbine will be reliable for HD/PD and small/medium game, short range (50-75 yard) applications.
If the SHTF where I'm living, 30 rounds of 110-grain JSP should do the job.
Does anyone have any experience with these units?
My magazines arrived this morning.
They look good, but won't know how well they work until I have my A/O Carbine in my hands to see how well they'll feed. They came in plastic wrap.
Shadycon: I wish I could give you more information, but I cant.
I like the looks of these magazines.
When I get my A/O Carbine, I'll test them and see how well they function. (I'm crossing my fingers). The reports on Keepshooting were quite positive.
