If you are trying to epoxy two pieces of wood together, you can clean it with MEK, acetone, or alcohol and the chances are that it will fall apart within 48 hours or at first recoil. If you are glass bedding a reciever, you can coat it with wax, oil, cat urine, dirt, fish oil, or horse manure, and within 24 hours you can't hammer that sucker apart.:bash:

Mr. Tarleton there once was this fella named Murphy and it seems that Mr. Murphy had a devil of a time getting things to work right. So good ole Murph devised this law of nature and called it Murphy"s Law. Well this law of nature says that "if anything can possibly go wrong it will". I beleive you have been Murph'ed. Once I discovered that the expensive release agents you buy are a mixture of wax and lighter fluid, I started using Turtle Wax or Johnson's Floor Wax. They work great. Instead of a 5 lb hammer, I only have to use a 2 lb hammer to break it apart, but my barrel now looks like a muffler clamp.
On the plus side, I have gained a lot of valuable experience in cursing and floor stomping and my neighbor did ask if I had changed religions.

I also discovered you need a REALLY BIG Mouthed jug and safety glasses to catch pregnant mare urine! That stuff really burns your eyes, and you will discover that your proctologist is your newest best friend if you have to walk back to the house through the stud pasture!

He (Ed Murphy) was doing research on ejection seats using a rocket sled. After an apparently successful run of the sled, the instruments showed the test was a failure. Upon investigation, it was found that an electrical technician had wired the instruments in totally wrong. And by th'way, did you hear about a certain cracker company not using the hollow tree elves anymore? It's true! Apparently they succumbed to samonella poisoning in the peanut butter. So this compay tried to use leprechauns but they were always drunk and fighting anybody who came along. So then the company tried using faeries but they insisted on moving the base of operation to Seattle or San Francisco. Sad, but true.
