Hello to all. I have a enfield t. until a few months ago no problem, but now.
Usually I shot at 100 mt and 200 mt by adjusting the drum on the notches 300 and 400, and the drift 5. Now more and firing the same ammunition at 100 meters, I have to adjust the drum at 500 mt and drift 12. I checked the screws of the attacks and are narrow. It seems that the telescope will be wrong. Does anyone have a suggestion.

I believe you are saying that the brass/bronze lead screw still does not rotate consistently with the drum itself. Is that correct?Quote:

No. Dried up grease causing friction. While the driving motion for the graticle block is mechanical ONE WAY, it is spring loaded the other way and therefore not immune from friction.
Another, probably insurmountable problem for you in Italy, is that it'd probably be impossible to send it out of the Country for repair and expect a safe return. Due wholly to the famous , nay, world renown notoriety of the light fingered Italian postal service. Once bitten, twice shy as they say...........

I bought a copy of the RSM. It seems quite done well even if not 'like' the original.
What is the RSM..........? I only know of one and that wasn't anything that you could buy!
This ought to be good RSM = ?
It is an China copy, I buy on Ebay. IT's right Mr. Peter, but I hate that original scope broke when I shot.
Maybe you should just fix the broken original one...... no? There MUST be someone in Italy who can fix them - or someone who can get it to Fultons reliably.
Good ole Taiwanese Wayne still pushing them out with his scope tins as well. I think enough was said in lots of previous posts about trying to zero a rifle to one of those. They have a place with reenactors rifles but not for the real deal!!
Yesterday, with a hair dryer I warmed the scope. The reticle moves also correttamente.Penso I had not screwed tight ring. They will try to shoot then I will tell you.
Your braver and gamer than me as that post and wire are amazingly thin and it would not take too much heat I reckon for the horizontal to either droop or go snap! the grease will probably solidify in another spot unless you went through the full range whilst it was still warm with the E & W.......
.....................never had a hairdryer in the chest that I recall, I'll check my 1033's and see if I missed that on issue :madsmile:

Oh alright then...........Army Form G 1033 was an Issue and receipt voucher in pads of 25 duplicated.
Basically once signed it was a legal document that you had acquired a piece of restricted or a starred item, which were logged as Rocking horse ****, watches and compasses came under it too:thup:
And were kept in the G-1098 store! How on earth did we ever remember all of this stuff?
It was the BIBLE to get anything done professionally. It certainly worked over at least 100 years that I know of anyway in the British and Commonwealth Armies.
