acouple of pics of some of my junk
Since ya got so many, I'll take one of them fat bladed bayonets off your hands. They look big and unwieldy anyway. :D
You ought to trade off some of the duplicates for other stuff. You have some good money tied up in the Corpsman's knives.
Love the U.S. issue stuff...that 1907 blade way right has a super false edge on it...
more of my junk, been a couple or more years since i checked on these.
i did have problems with the leather handled m1 carbine bayos...leather was mildewed and caused rust. i will clean those up on monday. all other bayos were good to go
More M7s there than QM...lots there, all a bit different I'm guessing?
heres my m1 carbine bayonets with the leather handles.
i am half way threw them, i used saddle soap then mink oil on the handles, still working on the ones on the right
i done saved them back up mr jim, i did notice a few different makers thou.
i dont know very much about collecting, not sure if my junk is worth much, but i got alot of it
this is how i store my knifes, in ammo cans then in a safe
I don't usually worry much about manufacturer. My goal is one of each type, expensive enough when you also collect the rifles. Exceptions to this are having one for each rifle and since multiple rifles often use the same bayonet, then I try to get different manufacturers. I have a lot of Type 30 Japanese bayonets for this reason. Type 30 rifle, Type I rifle, 38, 38 carbine, 99, 99 substitute standard, navy training rifle (training bayo for that). I have three 99's but I don't think I have bayonets for all three. One or two may soon be sold, not sure. Hard to sell anything but I really don't "need" three of them. Different arsenals but still, basically the same rifle. I have way to many Mosin Nagants right now also and considering I can easily quadruple my money on those, it's tempting.
