Can anyone ID the gun in back leaning against the file cabinets?
This picture is from back during the 1967 Detroit riots.
The guns pictured were seized by the Detroit Police Dept.

Mosin Nagant without a doubt the mag and the action give it away regardless as to what the pistol grip is to some Detroit drug jockey
Given the cast on the grip and the length of the barrel and knowing that the Russians rounds are fairly hot I for one would not want to fire that thing lest one sprains the wrist and has all their hair singed by the copious flash that round produces from short barrels.......:yikes:
Would not mind those Remington & Super X cartridge packets though........

Thanks for the tips, I’ll have to keep that in mind. If I come across any empty boxes I don’t need, I’ll have to pay back the favor. Shouldn’t cost too much to send them down your way.

They old boxes I have so many different ones from the estate i get in.
Even have empty powder cans from way back.
As Cinders said, that Mosin "pistol" would certainly be quite a handful .. The muzzle blast would probably blow your ear defenders off:lol::lol:
The story with the pictured Mosin Pimpstol had listed the address the guns were seiged from.

A cache of weapons found at 8045 John Lodge, confiscated by the Detroit Police Department.
But... Now it is a service Dr. next to the Lodge Freeway, surrounded by parking lots.
Burn it ........ and they will Pave it.
I noticed in this one that back in 67 you could get a Full Pint of Mohawk Vodka for $2.27 :cool:
