C stocks from Northridge Int.?

Hello everyone, new here and am hoping to contribute to this fine forum :) , unfortunately my first post -is- a question, however.

Has anyone used one of the "NOS" C stocks being sold by Northridge? I am looking to pick one up for a 1903A1 project I have in the works. Just wondering on the authenticity -and- if they are as fat as say a Boyds stock.

I originally bought a Minnelli C stock, but the wood grain is a bit too fancy for my taste, and just doesn't look right, - for my build.

It seems to be getting harder and harder to find a good, used, take off C stock on the usual auction sites without paying an arm and a leg for one.

The Northridge stuff is original GI stuff. I've got boxes of them in the past, quite a lot of the boxes had mild water damage from years of storage conditions etc but they were very clear on the descriptions. I even bought some of those and they had no issues, turned out great. Wish I'd bought a lot more. They sell on ebay under norint or something like that, anyhow yes, the stocks are the fat replacement but that's easy to take care of.
Just an observation on stock preference, watch the Keystone stocks, on a couple occasions I've found them to be a little soft. This had nothing to do with Northridge of course but I think Keystone was a little less selective on the blank quality than the others.

I know them personally from gun shows in Europe where they are to be found. The stocks are of nice quality, though I think they changed to a new supplier and no longer have the NOS 1903 stocks?

Well I ended up ordering one....not cheap but, I’ve had a hell of a time trying to find an original issued C stock, and I have a project I need to get finished. Will post photos once it comes in!

Stock came in. Here are some subpar photos I took with my iPhone at night with artificial lighting....Only part I am a bit disappointed in is the stock repair at the rear of the butt on the right side...IDK whether I am going to call and request an exchange, or keep it for what it is, as Im sure it was done when the stock was produced.

I see what you mean, don't know what exactly you intend the stock for...it may not show once oiled and sanded...

Slap the butt plate on and see how much would you have to remove in that area? Could get better (or worse), or eliminate the repair. Don't be surprised if the butt is 1/8" wider on each side than the butt plate.
