Comment: Very rare L42A1, all matching complete with transit chest and accessories. This is one of 12 delivered to the Australian army for trials in 1970. Rifle is unfired and accessories are unwrapped. Definitely one for the collectors. Impossible to upgrade.
Indeed, anyone prepared to pay out $25000 for an Enfield has been seriously afflicted by the Enfield bug.
As to loose change, if you could even get 25k in change into your pockets, it would be so heavy that you wouldn't be able to get your trousers on!

Yeah, Promo is probably right. The Australian currency conversion to UK pounds is pretty much the average here for a nice example. One of the L42’s converted from a Longbranch 4T recently sold for £18,000, and it wasn’t a pretty gun.

Comment: Very rare M82 7.62 NATO Sniper.
Introduced into the Australian Army in 1978 this example remains unfired and in like new condition. Complete with stock spacers and iron sights. This is one for the High end collector.

Thanks LE but after buying the 2018 Ducati V4 Panigale at the same time my wifes 2018 Ducati Supersport "S" the coffers have moths in them for a long time yet besides I have a "T" which is listed in Peter's book as being used in pad trials and its original scope it wore so you cannot get any better provenence than that from the great man himself.
What I find bizare is how did it end up in Australia over east then all those years later home with me never to leave.....! Truly it is 6 degrees of seperation.......
