Original WWII M1A1 Inland Folding Paratrooper Carbine Stock | eBay
Since I've been knowledgeable I noted that there have always been newcomers who are in a hurry to acquire the items they target as being the things to collect. And they overpay for them, sometimes by a lot.
Since I've been knowledgeable thats funny! I can't wait to see your knowledgeable M1 Carbine display!
Hmm, neither helpful or funny. What is the saying about people who live in glass houses?
I don't know I was hoping you snowflakes could tell me WhyCarbines? or is it deldriver? Mr. Propaganda
---------- Post added at 02:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:15 PM ----------
Alot of collectors are laughing. Mr. Propaganda
Guilty!
I started out collecting the cheaper foreign stuff I'd see lingering around. Went through a pretty heavy John Browning phase. Then decided US military stuff is what I really wanted and that it wasn't getting any cheaper.
My good buddy Visa helped out with that itch ;)
The last I looked we lived in America and are FREE to spend our money on anything we want as long as it is legal to own. But the snowflakes are upset but they have the most impressive 17% patina M1 Carbine collection that they are planning a display to teach all of us rookies.
If that’s a reply to me, I thought I’d clarify that I’m not the person that bought this stock.
My collection was pretty much rounded out a year ago.
No it was not a reply to you just a general comment about collecting.
I have the Inland M1A1Attachment 100911Attachment 100912Attachment 100913Attachment 100914Attachment 100915 wood NOS, had it many years, also about the same time I found a complete M1A1 Inland stock. Problem with the complete stock was that someone inletted it
for the M2 parts, very crude work. Also they attached a TSM front grip using glue and screws. The metal folder is in excellent condition. I decided to put the folder together using the new wood and the exc condition metal. Will take some photos of the complete stock. Here are some photos of just the wood taken in 2008
I can help you fix your problem if you want it. I just hope it dose'nt upset the knowledgable experts or snowflakes because they are tender and voices make them cry. But they are going to put the greatest M1 Carbine display together to educate us novices. Their contribution in collecting is secound to none. Mr. Propaganda will tell us this I'm sure.
This buyer must be collecting wood ammo boxes. This lot of WRA box sold for $256.95 + $31.55 for shipping...... A Total of $288.50
6 bidders submitted a total of 19 bids. So crates must be Hot right now.
I like them and I'm glad I have a collection of them purchased over the years at much lower prices.
About 7 or 8 of mine came from a barn sale for $10 each. Full of misc hardware, nuts and bolts. $5 for the box $5 for the hardware in them.
I display some and use others for 'Extras' storage..... Ammo cans, Bando's, Slings, Parts, Pouches, Carbine tools... etc.
Maybe a Dad bought this box for his own Fathers Day present?
I remember when a new boat I purchased was delivered on Mothers Day, while the Wife was grocery shopping. I rushed to put a Bow on it and told her I hoped she liked it !
I hadn't mentioned I had bought it prior to its delivery.
Good Weekend All

That's right, Paul, emote it all out, little guy. I never got around to thanking you and Glenn for running down that para stock at Huntsville a year and a half ago. You guys beat him up so badly about the trench art that he offered it to me for $600. Dang. That's making a person buy it. That's also the show I was helping Phil out at when he was bailing on Carbines.
btw, I'm a car guy who can't see the purpose in going to car shows.
I once got a free one that looks very similar to the one in the OP. I stared in my rear view mirror all the way home afraid someone was following me to come steal it back later. No kidding.
Oh bless your heart you are ok. When are you doing your 17% patina M1 Carbine display? I have told alot of collectors about your knowledgeable collection and they are ready to see it. Is Mr. Prapaganda going to help you. And I read your email you sent to 6 Ring about our reputations being tarnished. You are the cornerstone of M1 Carbine collecting but that was a insiteful email you sent I need to publish it for everyone to read. I found your youtube video enjoy but where is Mr. Propaganda? Woman lets out agonizing screams as Trump is sworn in - YouTube
The thinnest Carbine finish I own is an IP of prob 65-70% and Glenn was considering it at Murfreesboro last show.
You probably should take if off line.
PBI,
Take it easy and relax. Should be a nice weekend and we are all here to share.
If any have issues, please use the Private Message system.
Robert,
Any chance the M2 cut M1A1 stock could be repaired ?
Cheers,
I tell you what I will put up $20,000.00 dollars to your $1000.00 if they are the same stock. Get Crayola crayon man who started that BS to help you raise your money to take me up on my offer. I just so happen to have both of them here with me to prove your snowfake mind wrong don't cry by my offer let's settle it. We can meet in Tenn. if that helps you. Come on prove me wrong you could use the $20,000.00 to get some therapist to help you. Little man that is rich so I assume you are a BIG MAN let's bet and settle this once and for all.
---------- Post added at 06:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:40 PM ----------
Painter 777 you started this crap so let's settle it. My $20,000.00 to yours and igotapee $1000.00
I already have $20,000. It's not important for me to have other people know what I have.
If you're feeling insecure, look within yourself. I'm 5'10".
YES The one you drew all the circles on implying they were the same stock and I was switching them on different ROCK-0LA's. PUT YOUR MONEY UP, you and the minnion are so sure they are the same. That is the email igatapee sent 6 ring stating they were so let's settle this
---------- Post added at 07:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:11 PM ----------
Well you will have another $20,000.00 so you can easily put up a $1000.00 let's settle this snowflake who is 5'10
Hey Paul! When did you get upgraded to Novice???!!! *LOL* I didn't see any Ordnance stamp or P proof mark on that stock. Did I miss it?? Must be getting blind in my old age....
Nice looking stock though. But I don't think it was worth anywhere near that much. BTW, I still have that AO/IBM/NPM you sold me years ago. And are you ever going to try to get back up to OGCA again?
Charlie, this is exactly the same as when he sent me pics of a B-IP flip with the leaf on backwards AND having a 6 month Carbine enthusiast have to tell him it's backwards. And he still tried to tell me it's not backwards. So I sent the pics to a real collector in Connecticut without telling him what was wrong. That collector responded immediately about the leaf and I told him it was Paul who said it. He wasn't at all surprised.
The truth has no emotion. I can't change the truth by simply observing it.
There are more examples I could share that are just as interesting.
Late ROCK-OLA stocks did'nt use the circle P just lke Inland, Underwood etc etc. I want to come back to the OGCA but 10ocee or igotapee is going to do the best M1 Carbine displaay soon and I don't want to miss it.
Only a certain number of people care about displays. I'd look at one, but being jaded it wouldn't do a bunch for me.
https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=66476&page=4
Save those pictures people. Pretty much everybody saw the thread where he used the same stock on two different Carbines and denies it.
A real colector in Conn. just like igotapee/ I can't wait to see his display. And I did'nt have a magazine catch with 17% patina on it I am just not as advanced as the collectors in Conn. or igotapee that is why we are all waiting to see his display.
---------- Post added at 07:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:47 PM ----------
Oh my those are the same stocks look at the crayola crayon marks that prooves it. So put up the money and settle this Mr. flip site expert.
---------- Post added at 07:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:52 PM ----------
Yea that is why people came from Japan and Turkey to see my display's plus the other 7,700 that came thru the gate but again nothing will compare to igotapee's future M1 Carbine display he is going to do!
On top of an apology to the forum, you owe $20k.
OK put up your $1000.00 dollars against my $20,000.00 and let's settle it Mr. Jaded expert wait no Mr. Snowflake I am sorry Mr. igotapee
You owe the forum an apology.
YOUR APOLOGY NEEDS TO BE DIRECTED TO YOUR PARENTS for their mistake the forum knows you are a snowflake and self proclaimed expert. But in reality a DEMACRAT
---------- Post added at 08:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:20 PM ----------
Bye Bye igotapee cry yourself to sleep BIG MAN who stands 5 foot 10
Do you own anything that might impress me?
I doubt it my collection dose'nt have the rare 17% patina like yours please annouce when and where we are going to see your display
Post a pic of the two stocks side by side. That would do it. Prove everybody wrong.
Call Me Out ?
Then I want this on the record for all to read.
Below I'll attach a link to the topic where I asked if that stock was original to either of the Rock Ola actions you had pictured.
1- 1- I'm Here
2- 2- I can't figure out how you'd have both of those carbines currently in your possesion.
When you said that RMC Serial 6,208,908 was:
Quote "I gave it to a friends grandson who is eight years old."
https://www.milsurps.com/attachment....2&d=1545582267
The other RMC Serial 6,200,436 you had a fellow member post those pictures for you.
Link below:
https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=36610
This one I'll assume is still in your hands.
If you have both with you now... ? Did the boy give it back ?
3- 3- In the topic you started I asked which action the stock was original to ?
I put pictures together to show that 1 stock was used to show 2 different RMC carbines in it.
Same topic where in your reply # 27 you requested a member to fill out his profile for this reasoning:
Quote: "Jim I was told by a moderator along time ago it was reqired to fill out your profile info. Secound the rifle was not sold it was GIVEN to the young man. Third I like to know who I am responding to because of some past problems I have had with some people. Lets just say it had to do with death threats. Sorry if my request upset you but that is what I was told by a moderator to do to be safe on this site."
Here's the link to your thread you started. My reply is on page 4 #33 with YOUR pictures. I show comparisons that prove it's the same stock. I gave you the chance to clear it up but you replied:
Quote: "They are seperate rifles I owned and still own 436. Different stocks as well is that your question."
Read this link and all decide for themselves: https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=66476

I've lost what little respect I had left for you. I don't care if you own every US Mil Spec Arm ever built. Snow Flake Huh? You'll soon see how Cold it can get out there.
If your any type of stand up man you'd pass an apology on to our membership !
Ten,
I have all those pictures, including the pictures from a link in there saved on file.
This way he can't delete them like he has so many others early on that were questioned.
Like some of the display shows when he was questioned about others who help set the shows up but didn't want to share any credits.
Ablationman comes to mind.
So unlike the school boy who runs home with his ball thus ending the game.... the pictures of the one stock used in 2 different RMC actions are safe.
If in doubt....... take the time to go back through his posts and see how many have the pictures deleted.
Like the Audie Murphy carbine among others.
I now have more respect for Sam T BOB than this guy.
PBI has dropped a long way from back in the day:
https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=21533
When I met him in 2011 or so I learned rather quickly that he's this disreputable and dishonorabe type of person that we see today insulting the community's integrity and intelligence. It was apparent very soon that he isn't reliably knowledgeable either. A rookie like I was schooling him multiple times was tedious very quickly.
He has a couple of predictable defenders that he's refinished Carbines for that we suspect to be presented as originals. Any others supporting this type of behavior he displays will be people of similar ethics and practices.
Charlie, he suggests that he's setting some collecting example for the hobby, too. Not a good one.
