Followed me home last week. Guess I'll have to keep it?
Just acquired it two days ago, and now very anxious to expend some 9mm ammo.
I have no idea if that finish is original or later update.

The finish is aftermarket. They were usually blued.
Nice pistol BTW.
I have imported a few in to the UK and they have all been blued, they normally have a spare magazine with them as well.

Nice, nice, nice...now to warm it up and smooth that finish up a bit. A quick thousand ought to help. Wish I was closer, I just happen to have a box of just about that amount...nice pistol.

Usually use and cleaning will smooth out new Parkerising over time. I wouldn't do anything 'aggressive' to it.
