Very similar to the British Army Pam No4 for the L42, but featuring the PH M82 with ZF 69 Kahles scope

Very interesting, thanks. I'd like to complete that CES list for mine, got most of the spare bits but the carry case and sling are the main things I need to find but probably like the proverbial rocking horse ***..!
Love to find that manual. The accessories are very pricey. The drag bag and sling especially. Somebody here in Canada made up a few "clone" slings to outfit their kit as they could not find the "rocking horse pooh ". Ron (Canada)
Here's a couple of pics... one of a complete kit (cannot recall where the pic came from) and the others are of the innoc. one at the Infantry Museum here.

Any more pictures of the cased M82 (3rd Pix). Serial number is R-34323 if I'm seeing the tag correctly. Ron (Canada)
They knew how to select a good rifle then??
That's a pretty rare manual!
You brought it from me i believe, i recognise the 3 on the cover. I actually brought and imported it from Australia... Never seen another
Does anyone know if the Australian issued M82’s came with a transit case as pictured in the manual shown?
Or the one with the red interior in the picture posted by Son?
The steel one, I have one that came from Inf. Centre.
I have a Parker Hale M82 and am looking for Transit case,Hand stop, sling and open sight set.
i'm thinking these items will be very difficult to find in Aust.
Waco16 - does your manual make any comment on the transit chest? I have the CES for the Canadian C3 and it shows a drag bag for carrying and a wooden transit chest or "coffin" for storage or unit transportation. Seymore - where are you located (you can PM if you like).?I might have a lead on a sight set. Ron (Canada)
The case pictured in the pam is a Stamford rifle case made by Stamford Industries in Brookvale Sydney. The case was lined with the peaked foam rubber commonly found in rifle cases.
Sadly the company no longer exists. although the cases come up from time to time on Ebay and Gumtree. In fact, there is a green one on Gumtree at the moment.
The actual case used is much more robust than the Stamford.
A bit of an update on the actual case used. My mate who owns the rifle pictured sent me these pictures.
I'm sure someone here will be familiar with the manufacturer.
The Arco case was also used for the Enforcer
Here is the hand stop, very cheap here:
Parker Hale Handstop Rail - SARCO, Inc
Here is the front sight, they are sold out but I see them on Ebay all the time:
British Parker Hale Globe Type Front Sights - SARCO, Inc
If you have access to either a M68 or M80 parker sight, the rear mounts can be found.
hope that helps

I didnt see many PH rifles about, but the few I had anything to do with were always in a dark hard plastic transit case which was cracked!
