Is anyone having problems getting onto the Gunboards Forum ?
Had the problem for a couple of days now, but don't know if its 'just me' (or not).
If a site is offline (you are getting a timeout message or it does not open), try this.
Check if it is only you. Go HERE and type in "gunboards.com", to see if it is down for everyone or just you.

Its not just you. I cant access it either and havent been able to for several days.
Had/having this problem with other sites as well.
It has been up and down sporadically. Much, much more down than up. Began yesterday afternoon.
As a Moderator, I can relay that none of the Moderator crew received any warning from Admin. So, it was not planned, to my knowledge.
The error page which appears states that the browser cannot find the server. This last happened for a few days in 2017 (2014, 2012, 2009). Let's hope it is temporary again.

I got the same "it's just you" message... I typed "forums.gunboards" in and it came right up and worked on my 'favorite' links ever since....
Seems to be working normal again now, as are the other sites I couldn't access earlier. Odd.

Would be nice if someone was able to archive all of John Wall's posts. If the site isn't profitable enough the Canadians will pull the plug without warning. Also the company that owns it is owned by the media company that owns the Toronto Star, which is a left wing media company. So they have no love for firearms.
The site keeps logging off it is a pita having to keep logging on
The "reply with quote" never has worked for me on that site. The only work round, that I have discovered, is to quote the whole lot and then delete the bits that you don't wan't.

I had a problem with it: a jackass who pretended to be a moderator. Got no justice from the site owner(s) so haven't been back in years and don't expect to be.
