New toy
So my wifes Ducati is getting way to many Klms on it so this bike came up at a reasonable price and I know my wife can comfortably ride this type as she rides the 1000RR Repsol I have.
Its got high K's but for a Honda 4 pot thats no biggy 75,000 Klm its a 2006 CBR 1000RR new chain/sprockets, new battery, LED/Indicator tail light, Power Commander III, Yoshimura slip on, frame and axle sliders, heated grips (A must have for my wife), aftermarket levers and the motors solid.
The paint has a few scratches and chips but looks really tidy all I did was throw on a new Michellin Pilot 5 front tyre as the other one was pretty shot rears pretty much brand new.
So it was only $5,100 AUD and for a bike thats 15 years old it gets some serious looks due to its condition.
Pic of it on a night run I took it on last week to make sure all was good electrically and a pic of it with my Repsol before we headed out last Saturday.
Bit of a bummer we are in a 5 day hard lockdown due to a possible English mutated virus positive test and the person went everywhere in Perth so the premier has locked us down.:bitch:
At this stage only for 5 days as for our state Western Australia its been 10 months since our last known infection.

Hey the irony of the story is after you'se lot threw us out here it was then decided 200 odd years later by crikey that Australia is the go nice climate as well and out you come :p. Don't panic I am half pom my dad came here to be with his brother at the age of 16 in 1929 went to Kalgoorlie where they had a small 2 man mining operation not much came of it. But at 16 to leave home by yourself travel across the globe alone to be with your brother now that's something, dad never went back home to England he joined the RAAF to become a LAC engine fitter in WWII went o/seas for 4 years and that was that.

The good old days when if, you were in the "Empire" you could go and stay without issues. Now to go and live in Oz you have to have £400,000 in the bank and an occupation booked up to go to, unless of course you have a lot more money and retired. Thats the way to run a country IMHO!!

I'm dreaming about KTM 390 DUKE. Nakeds are so beautiful. I actually wouldn't need anyone if i had one.
But you know, I wish I started saving for it earlier when i used to get a salary for almost doing nothing... Because now i make much less for the same work. My manager updated all software in the office to control what workers do during working hours and as i just found out it is called worktime employee monitoring. There is link inside, just FYI...
