MA "The World´s Smalest Machine Gun"

Hello gents,

I´m not sure if this post is in the right forum, I want to share some info about the Mexican Trejo Model 1 "The World´s Smallest Machine Gun by its time 1950´s maybe the fastest too with a 1200 - 1400 rate of fire round per minute".

According to Forgotten Weapons, "Trejo was basically styled after the Colt 1911, but with a more aggressive grip angle, registered fully automatic Trejos like this one even in Mexico are actually quite rare" In the US you may find them around 9 - 10K like the one in the next video.

Yes, of course...but you'd need a magazine that's long enough to rest on the ground. Then, two of them.

You'd need a magazine of about five hundred rounds to satisfy firing needs...it's so fast.

Something like this eh! Jim mind you I'd ditch the handgun and keep the MG in this case.

I'd like to know how well that worked in combat. I was a gunner for a long spell when I was young enough to carry all that crap and it would be unworldly heavy and clumsy. Damage to the feed chute would cause a prolonged stoppage for sure, and always at the worst time... For just makin' empty brass though, great times.

But for the little pistol, what's more fun than a .22 and an endless magazine...?

It would be interesting to see inside the backpack, i.e. the arrangement the ammunition is stored in the backpack and fed into the feed-chute.

I see links so my guess it is a continuous belt.

I think ‘machine pistol’ or ‘sub machine gun’ would be a better fit. A machine gun shoots a rifle cartridge. I owned what I thought was the smallish machine gun, the H&K model 51 (Fire Dragon) in 7.62X51mm.
