I cannot get your pictures (no idea how to get them) but from what you say and I know about the recent Century imports you have a rather rare varient of the VZ 24, called a 'JC Lightened Short Rifle'. This from a CZ catalog circulated in So. Amer. back in the 1930s. It has a "much reduced thickness of the barrel, curved bolt handle, lightened stock and small of the stock consequently being thinned". It weight is 3.9kgs. versus 4080g for the VZ-24.
Rebarreling would ruin any collector value.
