Something I have not done for years

Had a late one yesterday and had a recovery day today as that Jack Daniels just kept filling up the glass I got absolutely plastered. 40% by vol drank a litre bottle of it by myself!
Then like a mug I thought better have some grappa as I had some with me on top of that what was I thinking, that lot really put the undercarriage away flaming heck guys
Missed out on a bike ride today which peeved me heaps, I reckon if pulled over the copper would've gotten drunk on my fumes!
Anyway doing some late night computer work and the King of the house has decided to sleep in a very different position on my lap.

They say cats are influenced by their owners aura's then ours has got the whole mix-master going on in his noggin.
Would not trade this little fella for anything such is the love, fun and antics he brings into our lives.

I haven't done that since...1997...but I remember the hangovers vividly. They get worse as you get older.

I concur with you Ovidio about 10 minutes after having a decent shooter glass of it well I cannot remember much, apparently according to my wife me having a shower at home was hilarious! :rofl:

As bad as playing catch up when you come late to the bar and the guys are already downrange...and you need to get there fast. That usually ends in disaster.

Siamese are a critter unto themselves. Unlike any other cat with the possible exception of the Burmese. Have had both. Loud, talkative cats. Hunter killers. Great family cats.
Good choice in drink, too.

Have read that potassium supplements are a good hangover preventative taken a day or so before.

Or there's the classic for officials attending Russian banquets: a slug of olive oil taken straight. Don't try it if your gall bladder isn't clear as a whistle though! ;)

If I was an "official" attending a Russian Banquet I wouldn't eat, drink or touch anything and would probably arrive wearing full NBC kit or Hazmat protection. I'd be frightened of having a "highly radioactive-Mickey-Finn" slipped into my drink or surfaces that I may touch having been sprayed with some sort of deadly chemical or nerve agent.

Of course I was speaking merely of "Cold War" days. ;)

Now that Germany at least is "at war with Russia" according to her greenshirt defence minister I suppose you take your chances! :D

Just stay in a hotel with a single storey as apparently Russians lately have a a habit of falling from 8+ storeys!!! :confused:

I doubt the Russians will be any more upset than they are now, though they have reportedly stated that the use of DU projectiles in those tanks they will consider to be the introduction of "dirty" nuclear devices into the conflict, and will respond accordingly.

One could ponder on that for a few moments?

That's ok the US just popped the Chinese weather balloon so here we go again China/US with the Rocket Man doing his thing, Putin again threatening to use Nuclear weapons bit stupid doing that as you will just make the Ukraine one giant Chernobyl.
