Alrighty is right. I don't know what to think...
LMAO!!! perfect response , i usually refrain from posting links to active auctions , this has to get a hall pass as its a first for me ,ive never seen such a bubba in almost 40 years in the hobby
At least for the time it remains available...here...

dont think its going to sell for anything close to what hes asking , honestly i wouldnt give $300 for it
im always too afraid to post a direct link to a auction , i keep thinking that someone can access my account with it , so i just do auction ID and let people copy/paste it
You have to be very careful when purchasing firearms from sellers on GB since many have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.
Everything else with it aside, that area around the firing pin hole on that bolt face certainly doesn't look good to me. Has that been eroded away or just lousy machining?
aside what people say about how chicom SKS rifles are junk , they ar in my opinion #2 second to the Russian , there are lesser quality SKS rifles that are more desirable simply due to the numbers game
people say Yugo M59 and 59/66 are better than Chicom , yet they are not even chrome lined and ive seen some train wreck bores on Yugo , now the Yugo M59 is more collectable than your average Chicom ,again due to numbers of M59 that were not refitted in 66 , but there are chicom variants that are uber rare , all stamped being one , sino's , a couple Keng put out , a couple Gibbs put out , SKS M and D rifles not rare but very desirable
people thumb their nose at chinese SKS because they hate China , not the rifles fault , in my humble opinion the order of quality is Russian , Chinese , Romanian , Albanian , and Yugo winning the turd place trophy , im sorry Yugo lovers , but night sights and a grenade launcher that is useless do not make up for a non chrome lined bore , and i still have a M59
i have a Israeli capture factory 26 , force matched rifle , they pretty much did the same thing to their captured weapons as the Russians did with captured K98 rifles , disassembled into separate piles , refurbish the parts , reassemble new rifles from scratch , only difference is the Israelis didnt electro pencil , but they did scrub and force match it back together so its a shooter , i want to do a faux Dragonuv with it
I've owned and own Russins, Yugos, and Chinese and I would buy an early machined Chinese over a Russian just because of the chromed barrel. but that is just me... I currently have 6 SKS's one looks really bad, but it still shoots accurately - I have yet to have a "bad" Chinese SKS (I haven't had a bad Russin either, though.. ) My yugo had a worn barrel from corrosive ammo, but the price was right and I have a brand-new replacement barrel just going to be a lot of work to change it so it on the bottom of my todo list.
At least this Bubba had some talent....not $1,300 worth of talent....more like $450 worth of talent.
if its really a M21 then he chose poorly on the rifle to do this to , he should have chosen a commercial or a total mismatch , M21 are somewhat collectable
You forget, I'm in kommifornia and people here will pay that all day long for that rifle. I'm on vacation in Montreal this week but a friend back home called and has someone who wants to sell a Russian SKS when I get home. Those negotiations will be interesting and hopefully we have money left over from our trip haha!!
i would go $300 , the UF and UF guts and the functioning SKS is worth that , i have all the parts to put it back together , but is a non matching shooter at this point
