Nice. I like these pistols. The larger mag capacity was a good selling point. Got a couple of the later 1917's with the finer toothed slide serrations and spur hammer.
Neat little pistol, you have two that I always wanted but never managed to corral. Savage and Beretta 34. I had several Beretta pistols just not the 34. I also wanted a Remington 51...no luck. Nice...
I'd love to get my mitts on a Steyr Piper like that.

Myself as well.
Savage 1907 pistols are awesome.
I think I have 2 left, a French/Portuguese with the lanyard loop, and a British proof marked .380.
The problem I ran into was that the location of the magazine release lead to dropped magazines.
They didn't actually fall out of the gun, just dropped about 1 inch, low enough to not pick up the next round.
I presume that this is the reason that the button location moved, and late magazines have 2 latch holes so that they can be used with either system.
I found that .32 mags worked OK in my .380.
